Below are links to the three main digital platforms that your children will use both in school and at home.

In addition to the links above we have also collated links to a number of sites which we believe may be of interest / use to our parents.

Think You Know

The Think You Know webstie (the front door to CEOP - Child Exploitation and Online Protection) contains information for both parents and young people to help keep children and young people safe from sexual abuse and grooming online. CEOP are there to help and give you advice, and you can make a report directly to them if you are worried about online sexual abuse or something has happened to your child online which has made either you or your child feel unsafe, scared or worried. This might be from someone they know in real life, or someone they have only ever met online.

Prevent Radicalisation and Extremism

The new website above is a very good resource to dispel myths etc. relating to Prevent and Channel that you may consider useful on the back of recent tragic incidents.

ParentZone

Parent Zone works to improve outcomes for children in the digital world. Sitting at the heart of digital family life, they offer free services and resources to parents and families. They undertake independent research into the effects of digital on family life, and consult with government on new legislation and initiatives that have the potential to affect our work and mission.

ChildNet - Help, advice and resources for parents and carers

Childnet is a UK-based charity who empower children, young people, and those who support them in their online lives, and its mission is to work with others to make the internet a great and safe place for children and young people.

Action for Children

Action for Children is an organisation who aim to protect and support children and young people. They do this by providing practical and emotional care and support. They make sure the voices of children are heard. They also campaign to bring lasting improvements to their lives.

Their free programme - Parent Talk - offers parents the opportunity to find answers to parenting questions in their advice articles. Or, if that is not enough, to talk to a parenting coach about anything that’s worrying you. It’s all free, and no topic is too big, small, or embarrassing.
