Welcome to Cherry class! During your time in Reception, you will meet lots of new friends, learn many new skills and grow in confidence every day. We enjoy learning together (both in the classroom and outdoors) and through our exciting topics. Our teachers are Mrs Jeffries and Ms Natella and our teaching assistant is Mr Saunders. Our Early Years Curriculum follows the Statutory Framework for Early Years Foundation Stage (2021). It is carefully planned and organised to enable children to develop across all seven areas of learning.
- Every morning we come into school keen and eager to learn and are soon very busy with lots of different activities. Every day we have a phonics lesson where we are learning the sounds and letter names of the alphabet. We are also very busy recognising numbers, learning the names of shapes and how to make exciting patterns.
- Every Wednesday, we have P.E. therefore, please ensure your child comes to school dressed in their P.E. kit.
