Roving Reporters

Welcome to
Roving Reporter Class!

We are a wonderful class of Year 2s and 3s and we love to learn!  Our mascot Rover spends all day with us in class and makes sure we are learning to our full potential.

Our new History topic this term is the 'Terrible Tudors'. We are linking this very closely to our Literacy work. So far, we have thought about the different lives that the rich and the poor led, as well as some of the key figures during the period.

We are the school's best mathematicians (as Mr Byrne-Smith says, anyway), and we love to practise our maths skills through problem-solving and games.

In Science, we have started our new topic of 'Materials'. So far, we have discussed their properties and uses. This week we will begin to create our own materials by combining different ingredients together, as well as considering the effect temperature can have on materials.

Come back for more information about our latest learning soon!

See you then,
Mr Byrne-Smith and Miss Ricketts
