On the 1st of December we had a very special, Christmassy visitor to Squirrel class. There were some snowy footprints that led to an elf by the Christmas tree, with a wrapped up present addressed to Squirrel class. We opened it and it was a book. We read the story, and it told us that Santa sends elves to keep an eye on children and to report back to him about whether they have been good or not. The book also said the elf needs a name, and that she will go back to the North Pole each night, and when she returns she will have moved.
We voted on a name for her, and Jingles was the most favourite. Below is a video of what we came into this morning, and I will also keep you updated with the different things she gets up to!
Happy Christmas!
