Welcome to Term 3!
We hope you have had a lovely Christmas break and the children are all set for this new exciting term. This term will be busy and our topic is "Who is in the book?"  In Literacy we will start with looking at traditional tales and investigating  the different characters' point of view through more modern versions of the stories. In Maths our focus will still be on the number system to 100, we will consolidate our number bonds to at least 20 and we will be looking at sorting and sharing. This term we will also experiment with materials in Science and watercolours in Art/DT. In History and Geography we are so thrilled to go back in time and explore how our local area has changed and how different the toys were that our parents and grandparents received at Christmas time. Finally in RE we will be learning about the Gospel and Jesus' teachings.
We look forward to a fantastic Term!
